• Here’s the latest from Victoria Strauss on the Anthropic AI piracy settlement.
• The thing I find most interesting about the new report saying library ebook lending harms sales is that I was hearing the exact same thing 5-6 years ago. (I was never allowed to see the data supporting this claim, but that is what everyone was saying.)
• If it was true back then, why would we need another report now? And if that was true then, why haven’t publishers pulled their books from library ebook services such as Overdrive?
