NOVA Organizations

Here is a list of organizations in this region which hold events for writers.

NOTE: This doesn’t really fit anywhere, but there’s a restaurant in Alexandria which regularly hosts literary events (Elaine’s).

Writing Clubs

Between the two state writing clubs, RWA, and Sisters in Crime, you would not beleive how many local writing clubs there are.

SF Conventions

There are many SF cons in this region where authors can connect with fans and other authors. A few of the cons include:

 

Libraries

Many libraries in our area hosted events for authors before COVID. As things return to normal, they will again.
