Here are a few stories to read this Monday morning.

  • I just heard about Spotify’s AI-slop audiobook production. Have you tried it? How was it?
  • Denise Baran-Unland shares ten signs of a healthy writing club.
  • Thanks to AI spam, Amazon has reduced KDP upload limit to 2 titles per week.
  • The Atlantic dives into fraudulently produced AI slop ebooks.  This problem has been around for several years now so I am rather surprised that the ebook platforms haven’t worked out a solution yet.
  • Nathan Bransford shares 10 things which don’t belong in a query letter.

P.S. On Wednesday I am flying to Denver for a writer conference. If you are going to Colorado Gold, look me up.
