• If you use Stripe, you should know that they’ve opted you in to their new AI-powered fraud detection platform, Radar.
• This past Wednesday the Horror Writers Association fired a Trustee for writing a (frankly, unhinged) pro-AI editorial in the HWA newsletter. Here’s the editorial, and here’s the official statement from the HWA (via Facebook).
• James Stegall brings our attention to the growing number of word processor gadgets, AKA WriterDecks.
• Here are some tips on how to choose social media platforms which sell books.
• Back before COVID, I started an event calendar for local (VA/MD) author events. It died when everything shut down, and between one thing and another I only just now got around to re-launching it. It’s called Nova Writing Events.
