Here are a few stories to read this Monday morning.

  • Xteink X4 Pro is a $99 eReader with a 4.3″ screen.
  • Jonathan Bailey shares 5 legal steps authors need to take.
  • Here’s a refresher on proper punctuation.
  • And here’s a counterpoint: A lot of these rules were decided by fiat in the past hundred and fifty years. You should take them about as seriously as the rule against the singular they and danging participles.
  • Here are four prompts which will tell you how much AI knows about you.  I have to admit that even now I am surprised that people are using AI that much. (I just use it here and there.)

TECH TIP Beware Charges from Ex-Service Providers

Last week I had to help a client get a bill sorted. It seems the company they used to use as a domain registrar tried to send a renewal charge even though we had moved the domain to another company. (The perpetrator was not GoDaddy, although I am pretty sure I’ve seen them pull this trick before.) This is another good example of why you should always double check invoices; you never know when someone is going to mess up.
